Wind Cords
A wind cord was traditionally used to keep your hat from blowing away and hitting the ground on a windy day. The cord is made from paracord material and pulls tight around the crown, where it attaches. On a windy day, the cord can be loosened and buttoned to the top of your dress shirt or jacket. Tighten and continue on your way once calmer winds prevail.
